Are you a "P.C. Christian?"
When someone says to you "How are you doing?", how do you answer them?
If you're a Born Again Christian, you have, in that moment, the ultimate opportunity to
propagate the Gospel of Jesus Christ, without the slightest concern
about being politically correct or incorrect.
Read on....The great
disciple Paul, wrote the following in Col 4:2 ¶Continue in
prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;
3 Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:
4 That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.
5 ¶Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
6 Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
Could the question "How are you doing?" or any other question that
invites polite conversation by a response be construed as a door of
utterance?
Certainly in today's militant social society, we are intensly
constrained by the rules that govern are once revered freedom of
speech. The enemy, (no I don't mean Osama Ben Laden or any other of his
ilk I mean satan and the spirit of antichrist) seeks to remove all
vestiges of Christianity from our culture and society. One need only
look around and see this insidious tactic at work. Try and find the
word Christmas in most shopping areas. Try and find a manger scene in a
public place, a bible in a court house, or try and find prayer in school (it's there every day that
their are tests regardless of the ACLU)
We are called to be PC…no…I
don’t mean politically correct, political
correctness is a tool of the spirit of antichrist.
I mean Preaching Christ! It starts in the 16 chapter of Mark: 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
In the book of Ephesians, chapter 6 vs’s 18,
19, & 20. Again, Paul teaches the tactic of
‘watching out for one another in spiritual warfare’ with the instruction that
directs us to be: 18 ¶ Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and
watching thereunto with all perseverance and
supplication for all saints;
19 ¶And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known
the mystery
of the gospel,
20
For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to
speak.
Romans
1:15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the
gospel to you that are at Rome
also.
Here's the key to it all folks!
16 ¶For I am not
ashamed of the gospel
of Christ: for it is the power of God unto
salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
17 For therein(Gospel) is the righteousness of
God revealed(otherwise hidden)
from faith to faith(growth
progression): as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
Remember, we are told in Romans 10:17: So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Jesus Himself asked the question: 8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? We have to ask ourselves why will it be scarce?
9 ¶And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
This instruction comes in
concert with Ephesians 6 ¶10 that urges us to conduct spiritual warfare by
being strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. ¶11Put on the whole
armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the
wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against
flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers
of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you
the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and
having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having
your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of
righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with
the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the
shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of
the wicked.:
17 And take the helmet
of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
When we answer the question "How
are you doing?" we can answer from the old man, with words that
describe our life before being born-again, or we can answer from the
new creation of our our born-again spirit, in which case you are going
to sow faith filled words if you have been obedient to the teaching
above. Remember, when you speak the Word of God, you are applying
several spiritual principles into the atmosphere around you, which is
the profidence of the satanic realm for the time being. Therefore, if
we were say something like" Well, I'm glad you asked. It is written
that Jesus paid the price for our sins and I have eternal life in Him.
I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, so I'm blessed in
everything I set my hand to." How are YOU doing? We will have spoken a
biblical truth into the life of the person asking the question. In that
brief transaction, we have accomplished several spiritual principles
which include:
Sowing Seed-Preaching-Praising-Giving Testimony-
In short, we have invited God into the transaction to fulfill His Word
and follow the process of the planted seed. He did say after all
in Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;
who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising
the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. And
He also said in: Isaiah 55:11 So
shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return
unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall
prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
So,
you see, on a daily basis, we have ample opportunity to begin to walk
out the great commission as given to us by our Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ in Mark the 16th chapter: Mark 16:15 And he said
unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up
serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them;
they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 ¶So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord
working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
Listen for the doors of utterance to be opened unto you.
It won't be easy at first, because old habits die hard, but pray for
God to use you in this way, and He will. Ask Him for the boldness of
the Holy Spirit, then be prepared as it says in: 2 Timothy 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth
not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
If you are looking for fulfillment in life, and want to
become a part of what God called you to do, begin today to take in the
Word of God to your heart. We are told that the power of life and death
is in the tongue, and from out of the abundance of the heart the mouth
speaks. Bless someone today with an answer from the new creation you
are...
